Curious about improv and ready to try something new? This beginner course is the perfect place to start. You will learn the fundamentals of improvisation in a supportive and playful environment, using simple games and exercises that focus on collaboration rather than performance.

Throughout the course you will explore playfulness, active listening, and creative thinking. You will practise letting go of mistakes, building confidence, and communicating more freely, both on stage and in everyday life. Most importantly, you will have a lot of fun along the way.

No theatre or performance experience is needed. This course is designed specifically for complete beginners.

The trainer Burgert Kirsten is specialised in Applied Improv. In his improv excersises and games you might gain some insights on your personal development. It is not the goal of this course, but some students name this as a valuable by-effect. They gain more self confidence, less fear of failing or being out of your comfort zone. Presentation skills, active listening skills. And much more.
