Program Improv for Life 7-week course part 2:

1. Purpose – Strong characters are driven by clear intentions. In this session, we’ll explore what it means to act with purpose—and what we can learn from stepping into roles with conviction.2. Physicality – Improvisors use their whole bodies to bring scenes to life. We’ll connect with our physical intelligence and explore how movement and embodiment can expand our awareness and expression.3. Perspective – Every character sees the world through a unique lens. We’ll practice shifting perspectives—including those that challenge us—and reflect on what new insights this can unlock in our daily lives4. Principles – Improv is guided by core principles that support creativity, presence, and connection. We’ll dive into these principles—and what it means to live by principles in a complex world.5. Power – Dynamic scenes often play with power and status. We’ll become more aware of how we hold and share power—and how we can use it with intention and integrity.6. Possibility – In improv, anything can happen. We’ll look at how to expand our sense of what’s possible by noticing limiting beliefs and building mental flexibility.7. Passion – Great improvisors leap into the unknown with wholehearted commitment. We’ll explore what it takes to bring that same passion and courage into the uncertainties of real life.
